Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe

Carbonara sauce is one of the most famous pasta sauces. Along with Bolognese sauce, it is one of the most widespread throughout the world and as such, there are many variations of this recipe.

The spaghetti carbonara with egg that we are preparing this time follow the basic ingredients of the Italian recipe, but we will also add a bit of heavy cream to give the sauce more consistency.

Stay and cook a good pasta dish with this easy recipe for spaghetti carbonara.

  4. 3 units of egg yolks (one for each diner)

  6. 1 medium onion unit
  7. 2 garlic cloves
  8. 300 grams of Parmesan cheese
  9. 1 pinch of salt
  10. 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Spaghetti Carbonara:

  • Before starting to make this Italian recipe for spaghetti carbonara, the first thing to do is to prepare all the ingredients to prepare our delicious pasta dish.
  • Subsequently, peel and finely chop the onion. And then you have to brown it in a tablespoon of butter.
  • Next, cut the smoked bacon or bacon into strips and crush the previously peeled garlic.
  • Then take these two ingredients of the original spaghetti carbonara to the fire together with the onion and fry.
  • Next, boil the spaghetti in plenty of salted water. The cooking time will depend on the type of pasta, so check the manufacturer’s recommendations on the packaging.
  • Separately, mix the egg yolks with 100 grams of the Parmesan cheese that we have prepared and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the heavy cream to the fried spaghetti carbonara with egg and leave it on low heat for 5 minutes to continue preparing the carbonara sauce.
  • The original carbonara sauce does not contain cream or milk, it is made only with egg but I have included it here because we love it that way at home.
  • After that time, turn off the heat and add the egg yolk mixture to the sauce, stir quickly and immediately mix with the boiled pasta.
  • Enjoy these spaghetti carbonara accompanied with the rest of the grated Parmesan cheese!
