Soy and Asparagus Stew Recipe

Ingredients to make soy and asparagus stew:

  • 100 gr. of soybeans
  • 100 gr. brown rice
  • 100 gr. cabbage
  • 150 gr. wild asparagus
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 turnip
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 1 clove
  • 2 tbsp. of oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to make soy and asparagus stew:

1.Soak the soybeans the night before. Wash and chop the cabbage, remove the hard parts of the asparagus, wash them well and cut them into medium pieces.

2.Peel the turnip and carrots and cut into small pieces, peel the garlic and mash. Place the oil in a saucepan and heat, then add all the vegetables, thyme, parsley, cloves and season to taste, cover the vegetables with water and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.

3.Then add the previously rinsed rice and the asparagus continue cooking over low heat until the soybeans are done, remove from the heat, let stand and serve.
