Ingredients to make soupy rice with frozen seafood:

  • 200 grams of Frozen seafood mix
  • 100 grams of white rice
  • ½ bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 grams of fresh peas
  • ¼ onion
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 30 milliliters of dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon of Paprika
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Soupy rice with frozen seafood:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients to prepare our homemade soupy rice. You can buy the frozen seafood mix to your liking, I have used one that comes with mussels, squid, octopus and prawns.
  2. Cut the pepper and onion into small cubes, finely chop the garlic and fry everything over medium heat.
  3. Peel and cut the tomato into small cubes. We wash and leave the peas ready.
  4. Add the tomato, peas and wine and reduce by half to add the shellfish and paprika. Add the rice and add water until it covers everything, season with a little salt.
  5. If you want the rice to have a more intense flavor of the sea, you can change the water for fish broth.
  6. As the rice dries up we will add water or more broth, you should also correct the salt during cooking, being very careful not to salt the rice.
