Snail Stew Recipe

Ingredients to make snail stew:

  • Snails (at discretion)
  • 1 bunch of fennel
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 pepper
  • Salt
  • gofer
  • 1 glass of white rum

How to make snail stew:

  1. Pour the snails into hot water and bring to a boil, leave over medium heat for about 50-60 minutes.
  2. Enough water to cover the snails and a little more.
  3. Add a good handful of salt, pepper and an onion cut into 2-3 pieces.
  4. A few minutes before taking them off the heat, add the fennel and a crushed clove of garlic and cumin (1 teaspoon).
  5. To accompany the snails, gofer is kneaded with the cooking water and a small glass of white rum. Enjoy them!!
