Sleeping Beans Recipe

Ingredients to make sleeping beans:

  • 500 grams of black beans
  • 6 capsicum chili
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup of soybean oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry wine
  • 1 pinch of ground oregano

How to make Sleeping Beans:

1.In a pressure cooker, place the beans, previously washed.

2.A few pieces of pork can be added, although this is optional.

3.Water is poured up to the middle of the pot and pressure is given over medium heat for 40 minutes.

4.Once the beans are soft, they are macerated a little, without eliminating the liquid that remains in the pot, so that the grain makes a paste.

5.Combine the other ingredients in a frying pan and fry for one or two minutes.

6.Pour into the pot and, without covering it, let the beans curdle.
