Ingredients to make Strawberry Mango Sirloin Skewers:

  • 1 fillet of beef tenderloin
  • 1 splash of Maggy Sauce
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pinch of extra seasoning
  • 6 units of Strawberries
  • 1 piece of Sleeve
  • 1 pinch of coarse salt or Maldon salt

How to make Mango Strawberry Sirloin Skewers:

Making these skewers is quick and easy, most of the time marinating takes up. So to start, cut the meat into bite-size pieces and place, along with the seasonings and sauce, in a bowl. Let the tenderloin marinate for at least an hour or, if you have time, overnight.

In this step, do not add any salt to the meat, this will prevent it from being hard when cooked. When this time has passed and the meat is ready, you can start preparing the fruit. Start with the strawberries, discard the green part using a straw or straw, as seen in the photo, and then cut them so that they are more or less the same size as the pieces of meat. Separately, peel the mango and cut into pieces the same size as the strawberries and the meat. For this recipe for sirloin skewers with fruit we have used the variety known as manga, this is much sweeter and juicier, so don’t despair if it costs you a bit to chop it, remember that it has a very large seed in the center, so I recommend you cut the sides and from there remove the pieces. With the ingredients ready, you can assemble the skewers. With three pieces of meat per skewer will be enough, interspersed with strawberry and mango as seen in the photo.

Cook on a griddle or frying pan, lightly oiled. Let the skewers brown on all sides and finish cooking with the pan covered until the meat is done. Finish the dish by serving the sirloin skewers with strawberry and mango and adding a few sheets of salt on top. As you can see, this colorful dish has a very elegant presentation. You can accompany it with a little  watercress Caesar salad or some roasted potatoes.
