Ingredients to make simple tuna salad:
• ½ piece of ear lettuce
• 3 small tomatoes
• 3 carrots
• 1 small onion
• 1 can of prickly pear in olive oil
For the dressing:
• 1 jet of olive oil
• 1 splash of Vinegar
• 1 pinch of salt
How to make Simple Tuna Salad:
To prepare the tuna salad, the first thing you have to do is wash the lettuce well. Then, also wash the tomatoes and cut them to your liking. You can cut them into slices or simply in half. Peel the carrots and chop or grate them, as you like. Also peel the onion and cut it into julienne strips or slices. Finally, finish the fresh salad by placing the tuna on top of the rest of the ingredients.
Tip: Remember to drain the oil from the can of tuna.
The dressing is optional; you can substitute it with Modena vinegar or soy sauce if you wish. If you want to prepare it, simply mix the olive oil with a little vinegar and salt to taste, and pour it over the summer salad.
