Ingredients to make Simple Garlic Soup:
- 1 liter of milk
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- Milk cream
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 pinch of dried thyme
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of Nutmeg
How to make Simple Garlic Soup:
- Pre-list all the ingredients to prepare our garlic soup. Please note that we do not specify the amount of cream as this ingredient is added to taste.
- In a pot, fry the garlic with a little oil. If you don’t have large cloves of garlic, you can add some more.
- Remember to remove the central part if you don’t want a very strong or repetitive flavor.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and continue with the sautéed garlic.
- Add the breadcrumbs to the preparation and stir everything. The breadcrumbs will give consistency to the soup.
- Add the dried thyme, milk and a little cream. Allow to keep on low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Check the seasoning and correct if necessary.
- Take the garlic soup to a bowl and grind the whole thing, you can also use the blender to achieve this step. Return the liquid to the pot and continue cooking for five more minutes. Turn off the fire.
