Siberian Toast Recipe

The tostadas with chicken that we present below are very popular in Mexico. Although the most common tostadas used for the Mexican recipe are those of the La Siberia brand, you can also choose another or even prepare them yourself.

Ingredients to make Siberian Toast:

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 2 pieces of chicken breasts shredded or shredded
  • 1 Avocado, peeled and pitted, already mashed with a fork, soften it and make it look like a cream
  • 1 medium diced red or green tomato
  • 1 can of sour cream to taste
  • 1 jar of Chiles in vinegars or golden in oil
  • 1 jet of oil as necessary

How to make Siberian Toast:

If we buy the tostadas from La Siberia we won’t have to do anything, because they are already fried. But if we prefer to choose to make them ourselves, we must brown each of the corn tortillas in hot oil, until they are very crispy.

Reserve the fried tortillas on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Meanwhile, we prepare the guacamole. To do this, peel the avocado, remove the bone, mash it with a fork and mix it with the chopped tomato.

We take a piece of toast, spread it with the guacamole, and add a lot of lettuce, shredded chicken and, finally, the sour cream to taste. Cover with another piece of toast and serve with pickled chilies or wire tacos. As you can see, making toast from La Siberia is very simple and fast.
