Shrimp Tacos with Cheese Recipe

Ingredients to make Shrimp Tacos with Cheese:

  • 2 kilograms of frozen shrimp
  • 1½ kilograms of corn tortillas
  • 1 kilogram of Manchego cheese
  • 1 pinch of garlic salt

How to make Shrimp Tacos with Cheese:

First the shrimp are washed and the shell and tail are removed. Once clean, they are cooked with water and the garlic salt. When the shrimp turn pink, it means they are ready. Take them out of the pot and reserve. You can also use precooked shrimp and if you want, you can use the cooking water to make a cream or soup.

Heat the tortillas and assemble the tacos by putting one or two shrimp per tortilla. Add a not very large piece of cheese and close the ends. Finally, fry the shrimp and cheese tacos in a saucepan with enough hot oil and then leave on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.

They can be served with sour cream, Pico de Gallo, guacamole or any sauce of your choice. Bon Appetite!
