Shrimp and Octopus Tacos Recipe

Shrimp and octopus tacos are delicious and healthy. This refreshing dish can be prepared for a day at the beach with a little spice or even to share at a meeting. We will also make the shrimp and octopus tacos with a little avocado and a seasoning of garlic and lemon.

Ingredients to make Shrimp and Octopus Tacos:

  • 4 units of corn tortillas
  • 150 grams of Octopus
  • 150 grams of shrimp
  • 80 grams of red onion
  • 1 unit of red tomato
  • 2 dessert spoons of Cilantro
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 units of Lemon
  • 1 unit of Avocado
  • 2 squirts of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Shrimp and Octopus Tacos:

1.Before making these Mexican tacos, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.

2.In a bowl mix the tomato without seeds, the onion cut into small cubes, the coriander cut finely and the lettuce cut into strips.

3.Add the lemon juice, a little olive oil and mix everything very well, season with salt and pepper and set aside.

4.Cook the octopus cut into small cubes in boiling salted water for 20 minutes. Remember that you can also use already cooked octopus as in the recipe for octopus tacos.

5.Separately, in a frying pan with oil, cook the salted shrimp until golden brown. Then add the cooked octopus and a few drops of lemon juice, sauté a few more minutes.

6.To finish these delicious seafood tacos, heat the corn tortillas in a pan and arrange the sautéed vegetables and seafood on them. You can also make tortillas at home following the recipe for Mexican corn tortillas.

7.Finally close the shrimp and octopus tacos and add the avocado cut into cubes, enjoy… to give it a spicy touch you can accompany it with the spicy peanut sauce.
