Shrimp and hake ceviche recipe

An appetizer for lovers of seafood, a ceviche combining shrimp and hake. The acid marinade, characteristic of ceviche with a touch of spice, makes this variation an exquisite dish. Let’s see the step by step recipe for shrimp and hake ceviche and get to work.

Ingredients to make Shrimp and Hake Ceviche:

  • 4 fresh hake fillets
  • 8 units of Lemons
  • 3 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 200 grams of roasted corn
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 2 units of purple or white onion
  • 1 unit of Avocado or avocado
  • 500 grams of shrimp
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley

How to make Shrimp and Hake Ceviche:

1.The first step to make our easy ceviche is to pre-list the ingredients of the recipe.

2.We must take the hake fillets to a chopping board.

3.Take a deep pot with enough water, once it boils add the shrimp to cook them for a few minutes before marinating them in the lemon acid.

4.Chop the fish into medium squares and put them in a bowl.

5.Remove the shrimp from the pot and cut the cooking time with cold water to avoid overcooking. Reserve them.

6.Cover our ceviche with the lemon juice. Ideally, the acid in this food cold cooks our protein.

7.Add the garlic powder, ginger and a little black pepper. Mix the ingredients of our ceviche well and if you want you can add tangerines to give it an extra touch.

8.Once the shrimp are cold, add to the bowl where we have the marinade and mix the ingredients well. Let the preparation rest for 30 minutes so that our easy ceviche marinates well.

9.Add the onion in feathers since this is the characteristic cut of the recipe. If you want you can finely chop the onion.

10.Add the avocado in small squares and mix with our fish ceviche recipe.

11.Add the spicy to taste, powder or liquid. Mix the ingredients well so that this predominant flavor is well distributed.

12.Add the cream cheese and the fresh herb that you want. Ceviche is normally prepared with coriander, but for those who do not like the taste of it, they can substitute parsley as in my case.

13.Serve the fish ceviche adding toasted corn to each of the dishes and accompanying it with tortilla chips or green plantain. Shrimp and hake ceviche can be eaten as a main course or as an appetizer.
