Ingredients to make seafood pate with Thermomix:

  • 1 can of Sardines in tomato sauce
  • 1 can of pickled mussels
  • 1 can of mackerel in oil
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • ½ teaspoon of Tabasco
  • 1 loaf of baguette bread

How to make Sailor Pate with Thermomix:

To start preparing this seafood pâté, empty the contents of all the canned goods into the Thermomix glass. It includes the canned broth and blends everything together at speed 6-8. After a few minutes, add the butter and Tabasco sauce. Keep grinding at the same speed 6-8 and help yourself with the spatula until you get a homogeneous mixture. Check and correct the seasoning of the pâté with salt and pepper if necessary. Tabasco is not a primary ingredient and if you want you can substitute it for a canned with hot sauce.

Cut the bread into slices, lightly brown in a frying pan and serve together with the seafood pâté with Thermomix. This appetizer is ideal for any occasion, especially if it is a meeting, where you can combine it with some avocado toast, for example.
