1.Before making this recipe with chickpeas, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready. If you prefer, you can make this recipe with cured ham.
2.Soak the chickpeas overnight. The next day, cook the chickpeas in water over low heat for two hours, until soft.
3.In a separate pan with a little hot oil, sauté the finely sliced ham until lightly browned.
4.Add the finely chopped garlic and sauté over low heat for another minute.
