After preparing the hamburger kebab, the next logical step was to try it with hot dog sausages… and my husband loved it! And it is that he is very fond of this type of fast and tasty food. I am more into healthy and balanced food, but being homemade is a dinner that I allow myself from time to time… because you have to have some joy!

I share how to prepare this sausage kebab so that you can do it on any occasion and surprise your friends. I’m sure you like them!

Ingredients to make Sausage Kebab:

  • 2 corn tortillas for kebab
  • 4 sausages for dogs
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 splash of kebab sauce
  • 1 handful of fried onion

How to make Sausage Kebab:

The first step to make this sausage kebab is to put a little bit of kebab sauce in the center of the corn tortilla, put a handful of fried onion. We cover it with two slices of cheese (one next to the other vertically) and place two Frankfurt sausages open in half lengthwise (four halves in total) on top of the cheese. You can also use pita or durum bread to prepare it.

Trick: You can use the sauce that you like the most and/or fry the sausages in the pan beforehand to make the homemade kebab. We roll up the sausage sandwich giving it the shape of a kebab and put it on the hot grill or grill so that the corn tortilla is sealed and crispy, and the cheese inside melts.

Trick: If you are a good eater you can put three sausages in the homemade kebab, but be careful when rolling! Finally, we serve the sausage kebab accompanied by some baked or fried potatoes and/or a varied salad … and enjoy!
