Sausage Ceviche Recipe

• 2 frankfurter-type sausages

• 1 piece of cucumber

• 1 green bell pepper

• 1 glass of tomato juice

• 2 ripe tomatoes without skin

• 1 purple onion

• 1 pinch of ground chili or black pepper

• 3 pinches of salt

• 1 tablespoon of ketchup

• 1 lemon (the juice)

• 2 tablespoons of olive oil

How to make Sausage Ceviche:

Cut the sausages into slices and then each slice into four pieces if they are thick, if they are rather thin simply cut the slices in half.

Chop the red onion into not very small pieces. To do this, cut it first into slices and then in half. And if you prefer the sausage ceviche to be finer, you can chop the ingredients even smaller, to your liking! Also chop the other ingredients into small squares, that is, the green pepper, the cucumber, the avocado and the tomato.

Put all the previous ingredients and the rest in a container in this order: first the tomato juice, then the salt, the oil, the ketchup, the chili or pepper and, finally, the lemon juice. Stir well, cover with plastic wrap and let the sausage ceviche macerate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
