Ingredients to make Sardines with tomato and onion:
- 2 kilos of sardines
- 2 onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves
- Half a glass of water
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- a bunch of parsley
- Salt to taste
How to make Sardines with tomato and onion:
- We leave the sardines to soak for a few minutes under water.
- Then we clean them; we remove the heads and scales and season.
- In a frying pan with oil we brown them, round and round.
- Later we only have to fry the garlic, the onions and the tomatoes. When the tomato has dissolved, we add the water and the sardines.
- We let it boil for about 7 minutes at most and rest between 3 and 5 minutes.
- Finally we only have to serve at the table and sprinkle the chopped parsley on top.
