Ingredients to make Sardines a la Santanderina:
- 1 kilo of sardines
- 5 garlic cloves
- a few sprigs of parsley
- 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Salt
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 salad tomatoes
How to make Sardines to Santander:
- Wash the sardines, removing the heads and the central spine.
- Season them, brush them with oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chop the garlic and parsley and mix them with the breadcrumbs.
- Cover the sardines with the mixture of garlic, parsley and breadcrumbs.
- Place in the preheated oven at 200º C for 6 minutes.
- We serve on a tomato salad base cut into thin slices and seasoned with a little salt and virgin olive oil.
