Salmon with poppy seeds recipe

Ingredients to make Salmon with poppy seeds:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small fresh rosemary sprig
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 piece of pepper
  • 800 grams of salmon loin without bones or skin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons of poppy seeds

How to make Poppy Seed Salmon:

  1. First we are going to wash, dry the tomatoes and chop them into fine cubes. We will also chop the sprig of fresh rosemary, well washed and dried. Season the tomatoes and add the fresh rosemary. Mix and reserve in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  2. Next, we will cut the salmon loin into strips and, in turn, into cubes. Remember that the loin has to be boneless and skinless. Season.
  3. We put a wide frying pan with the oil to heat. Meanwhile, pass the salmon cubes through the egg white.
  4. And we coat with poppy seeds.
  5. Cook the seed-battered salmon in the hot pan with the olive oil until the poppy seeds are lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
