Salmon tataki recipe with sesame

Tataki in Japanese means “stacked”, it consists of a way of presenting raw fish, in this case salmon, cut into sheets that are previously sealed so that the sesame seeds can easily adhere. The salmon tataki is accompanied by a soy sauce and lemon.

Ingredients to make Salmon Tataki with sesame:

  • 200 grams of salmon without skin
  • 30 grams of black sesame seeds
  • 30 grams of regular sesame seeds
  • 1 unit of Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 20 milliliters of sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Salmon Tataki with sesame:

  1. Before making the salmon tataki with sesame, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  2. In a pan with oil, seal the previously seasoned salmon fillet on all 4 sides over high heat (quickly so it doesn’t cook inside), once ready, let it cool.
  3. On a plate, mix the two kinds of sesame seeds and coat the salmon on all sides, take it to the fridge to cut easily later.
  4. For the salmon tataki sauce, mix the lemon juice and the soy sauce.
