Salmon pesto recipe

Ingredients to make Pesto Salmon:

  • 5 salmon fillets.

How to make Pesto Salmon:

  1. To start making our pesto salmon recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  2. The first thing we are going to do is the pesto sauce, for which we are going to wash our fresh basil and take it to a bowl, add our olive oil and process with a mixer or processor.
  3. Once the basil has been processed, add the pine nuts and the garlic paste. Process again until all the ingredients is integrated.
  4. As the last step, add 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and mix with a spoon. Reserve our pesto sauce.
  5. This is our desired consistency of our pesto sauce. Set aside.
  6. Place a frying pan over medium heat with a little olive oil; add each of the salmon previously with salt and pepper to taste. Fry very well on each side (approximately 5 to 7 minutes per side) and remove from heat.
  7. Serve our salmon with pesto adding a little of the sauce on top of each of the fillets.
