Salmon Burger with Avocado and Cream Cheese Recipe

Out of dinner ideas? Well, write down this one that I share below! It is a complete hamburger sandwich, with a contrast of flavors and textures that you will love and surprise. To do so, I have opted for a salmon burger, due to its mild flavor and contribution of omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. To accompany it, I have selected avocado, cream cheese and other ingredients that I detail below.

Ingredients to make Salmon Burger with Avocado and Cream Cheese:

  • 2 salmon burgers
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tablespoon fried onion
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 rolls
  • cream cheese

How to make Salmon Burger with Avocado and Cream Cheese:

  1. The first thing we must do to expedite the work is to prepare the ingredients. To do this, we wash the lettuce well, remove the avocado peel and bone, and cut into slices. Likewise, we cut the tomato into slices.
  2. We cook the salmon burgers on the grill with a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, we open the buns in half and toast them lightly for a crunchier sandwich. You can buy the bread that you like the most from the bakery, or consult the recipe for homemade hamburger bread. Once toasted, we take the base of the bread and place on it a bed of lettuce chopped to taste.
  4. On the lettuce, we place two or three slices of tomato, to your liking! Depending on the flavors you want to enhance, you will have to decide the final amount of each ingredient, although we believe that it is always better to go a little too far, don’t you think?
  5. Now, we place the hot salmon burger and, on it, we spread a generous layer of cream cheese. We have opted for a Philadelphia-type soft cream cheese, but you can choose the cream cheese that you like best.
  6. On the cheese, we sprinkle fried onion. As you can see, we have used very crunchy onion, but caramelized onion also fits perfectly with this avocado salmon burger.
  7. The turn of the avocado has arrived! Add all the avocado slices you want on the onion, keeping in mind that this is a product that is hardly noticeable in small quantities.
  8. We close the salmon burger with avocado and cream cheese with the lid of the bun and taste it accompanied by potato chips, a rocket salad…, whatever we like best!
