Ingredients to make Salmon Bonbons:

  • 200 grams of smoked salmon
  • 30 grams of chives
  • 2 tablespoons of peanuts
  • 250 grams of spreadable cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 units of Lemons

How to make Salmon Bonbons:

  1. The first step to make our salmon chocolates recipe is to prepare the ingredients. If you wish, you can add more chives or chives. You can also replace the peanut with any dry fruit of your choice (almonds, walnuts, etc.).
  2. The first thing we are going to do is assemble some pieces of smoked salmon in a round ice cube tray for chocolates. If your ice tray is made of plastic, add a little olive oil with a brush in each hole to prevent the salmon from sticking.
  3. Now we are going to fill the chocolates. To do this, in a bowl add the spreadable cream cheese, chives and oregano. Mix the ingredients very well.
  4. Trick: If you want you can add other ingredients that are of your preference.
  5. Add the sesame seeds and the peanuts or dried fruit that you want to use. Mix well until the ingredients are integrated.
  6. As a final tip and trick, add the zest of two lemons to give a special and delicious touch to our Christmas appetizer.
  7. With the help of a teaspoon, add a bit of the filling  Be generous, because this way we can give a better rounded shape to the salmon chocolates.
  8. Cover the chocolates with another slice of smoked salmon on top, forming a chocolate. Take to the fridge or refrigerator for approximately 2 hours, covering the chocolates with plastic wrap.
  9. Tip: If you are in a bit of a hurry you can take them to the freezer for approximately 20 minutes.
  10. Serve the salmon chocolates cold, they are ideal for spreading on bread, toast or any product of your choice. This is a truly delicious and very elegant appetizer, perfect to serve during the holidays for Christmas, Valentine’s Day or any other special occasion.
