  2. 1 unit of Avocado
  3. 4 units of nori seaweed
  4. 300 grams of fresh salmon
  5. 1 jar of Philadelphia type cream cheese

How to make Salmon and Avocado Sushi:

  • The first step to make this salmon and avocado sushi recipe is to prepare all the ingredients that we are going to use.
  • To begin with, we must take into account that our sushi rice is much agglutinated, for this reason we must have a bowl with water to be able to wash the knife with which we will cut the raw salmon sushi rolls and also to moisten our hands.
  • We must have bamboo mats to make rice and salmon sushi like the one we have in the photograph, and it is important to cover them with plastic wrap.
  • Add a nori seaweed on the lined mat. These seaweed are specialized for making sushi recipes, and ideally, the filling should be placed on the wrinkled part and the smooth part on the outside.
  • Add the sushi rice with your hands until halfway through the nori seaweed as shown in the photograph. Add some cream cheese on top of the rice.
  • Add the avocado, ideally it should be whole so that it looks good in the homemade sushi roll.
  • Add the fresh salmon strips next to the avocado, as shown in the image.
  • Also add a strip of cream cheese on top of the filling and begin to roll the nori seaweed by applying pressure with the help of the bamboo mat to form the salmon and avocado sushi roll.
  • Add a little cream cheese to the ends of the salmon sushi roll so that it sticks well, and with the water that we have in the bowl, add water to the nori seaweed to moisten it.
  • Roll up the salmon and Philadelphia sushi roll very well and, when you have it, we will be ready to cut it into small portions. To do this, you must moisten the knife in water every time you cut a bite or portion.
  • If you wish, before cutting the raw salmon sushi into bite-sized pieces, make sure that each of the rolls are tightly packed before cutting.
  • Once you have cut each bite of salmon and avocado sushi with cream cheese, they should ideally look like this.
  • Serve the salmon and avocado sushi by adding a little teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, wasabi or pickled ginger, and accompany it with traditional Japanese wooden sticks
