Ingredients to make Russian Sandwich:
- 8 slices of crustless bread
- 1 small jar of caviar substitute
- 125 gr of grated cheese type Emmental or similar
- Butter
- Oil
How to make Russian sandwich:
Cover the bread with a thick layer of cheese about 1/2 cm thick. Add a layer of caviar substitute and gather the remaining slices. Brown the sandwiches in the sandwich maker or fry them in a pan, following the procedure described above on both sides, until golden brown and crisp. The slices can be shaped round before starting the preparation. They are served garnished with a lemon wedge and a sprig of rosemary.
