Rough Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Blunt Rice:

  • 2 cup(s) rice
  • 2 pepper(s)
  • 200 g lean pork
  • 200 g shelled peas
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 cup(s) boiling water
  • 50g butter
  • 1 glass(s) white wine
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Blunt Rice:

  1. Cut the meat into squares, clean the peppers by removing the seeds and cut them into strips.
  2. In a saucepan, sauté the onion with half the butter and two tablespoons of oil, Add the meat and let it brown, sprinkle with the wine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and then add the peppers and peas, add a cup of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes.
  4. At this point, add the rice, give it a few turns so that it browns well, then bring to the boil, pour in the boiling water gradually.
  5. Halfway through cooking, dissolve the saffron in a cup of water and add it to the rice. Once removed from the heat, let the rice rest for a few minutes and then serve.
