Roquefort steak medallions recipe

Ingredients to make Roquefort steak medallions:

  • 500 grams of beef or beef fillets
  • 200 grams of Roquefort cheese
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 ccs of cream or milk cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 200 ccs of milk-180 grams of chopped mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons of parsley
  • 4 tablespoons of oil or butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Roquefort steak medallions:

  1. For the sauce, place in a pot and fry the onion and garlic over low heat.
  2. When it takes color, the milk, cream and mayonnaise are placed together with a little water.
  3. Salt and pepper are added to taste
  4. Add the parsley and mushrooms and stir.
  5. Finally, add the Roquefort cheese, wait approximately five minutes or until the Roquefort cheese has been fully integrated
  6. For the medallions, put a frying pan over low heat.
  7. The fillet medallions are placed with the oil.
  8. Salt and pepper are added to taste
  9. When they have grabbed color from both sides, the previously made sauce is poured.
  10. Cook over low heat for approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on the term you choose for the meat.
