Roasted potatoes with fine herbs

In this recipe we bring a different way of cooking potatoes. We are going to make some roasted potatoes in the oven with fine herb oil, which will give a delicious touch to our preparation. Taking into account that potatoes are the second most consumed carbohydrate in the world, it never hurts to offer new cooking techniques and different ways of preparing them. Take note and make roasted potatoes with fine herbs, you will love them!

Ingredients to make Roasted Potatoes with fine herbs:

  • 500 grams of medium potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Mixture of fine herbs (oregano, basil, thyme and bay leaf powder)
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 25 milliliters of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Herb Roasted Potatoes:

  1. Our first step is to prepare all the ingredients for the roast potatoes recipe.
  2. Wash the potatoes very well on the outside, since we are going to cook them with their skin on, and cut them into thick strips
  3. Take the potatoes to a pot with enough to cover them and a little salt, cook them a little.
  4. The important thing is that they are not soft but rather hard so that we can finish cooking in the oven.
  5. Take the potatoes to a previously greased refractory to be able to take them to the oven.
  6. In a bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic paste and fine herbs, mix very well until the ingredients are integrated.
  7. Bathe the potatoes with the oil that we flavored in the previous step and distribute very well.
  8. Take the preparation to the oven at a temperature of 180ºC for 15-20 minutes, or until you see that the potatoes are already roasted.
  9. Serve the herb potatoes as a side to any type of protein
