Ingredients to make Roasted Onions:

  • 6 pieces of medium onion
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Roasted Onions: 

  1. The first step to prepare our roasted onions will be to cut the onions into approximately 1 cm thick slices, while preheating the oven to 220ºC.
  2. For the dressing, add the lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Also add the mustard, garlic salt, season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. To finish making the dressing for the baked onions, add the dried rosemary.
  5. When it is well integrated adds the olive oil and stir.
  6. Place the onion in a refractory suitable for the oven and cover them completely with the dressing.
  7. Place the onions in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until tender and well browned.
  8. The cooking time will depend on the power of your oven and the degree to which you like the vegetables.
