Risotto Recipe with Peas

Ingredients to make Risotto with peas:

  1. 1 cup of Arborio rice
  2. 150 grams of Peas
  3. 100 grams of Serrano ham
  4. 2 teaspoons of Butter
  5. 1 unit of white onion
  6. 1 glass of Cava or white wine
  7. 2 teaspoons of fresh parsley
  8. 1 pinch of garlic paste
  9. 4 cups of broth or beef stock
  10. 1 pinch of salt
  11. 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Risotto with peas:

  • The first step to make our risotto with ham recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  • Bring a deep pot over medium heat with enough water.
  • Once the water is at a boil, add the peas and cook until soft, remove and set aside.
  • Now we are going to make the risotto. As we already know, you must take a deep pot over medium heat, add a little olive oil, the rice and let it fry for a few minutes. Add salt, pepper and garlic paste to flavor our preparation.
  • Add the beef broth or any stock you want to use with the butter, remember to stir constantly so that our rice does not stick. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is done. Add the white wine or cava when the rice is ready and is being kept over low heat.
  • Bring a frying pan to medium heat and fry the peas and ham in medium squares.
  • Mix the ingredients from the previous step with the risotto rice and distribute very well throughout the preparation.
  • Add a little parsley and if you want before serving a little cream of milk to taste.
