Ingredients to make Rice with pixín and prawns:
- Pixín (monkfish)
- Prawns
- Rice (for 6 people)
- 4 carrots
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 squid cut into strips
- 1 onion
- 2 leeks
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 tomato
- 2 small shallots
- 1 pinch of pepper
How to make Rice with pixín and prawns:
- Make a fumet with the head and spine of the pixín with a couple of leeks, an onion and the peeled carrots.

- Crush the heads of the prawns and remove the broth.
- Remember to remove the intestine from the shrimp.
- Lightly fry the monkfish or pixín and the prawns, and set aside.
- In the same oil add the peppers cut into pieces, two small shallots, the tomato and the squid in strips.
- Add the rice and fry it with the rest of the ingredients.
- Pour the shrimp broth into the pan.
- Sauté everything for 5 minutes and gradually add the fish broth or fumet to the monkfish and prawn rice
