Rice with peas and Surimi recipe

Ingredients to make Rice with peas and Surimi:

  • 1 cup of brown rice (200 grams)
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 200 grams of Peas
  • 6 units of Surimi
  • 50 grams of Onion leek
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Rice with peas and Surimi:

  1. The first step to make this rice with pea’s recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. Bring a pot with enough water over medium heat and, when it starts to boil, add the peas and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove them and reserve.
  3. Now we are going to start cooking the brown rice, let’s remember that this requires a little more cooking. So, add the cup of brown rice in a pot, add a little onion powder, garlic powder and salt. For a cup of brown rice we must add three cups of water to cover it. Add the cups of water and let the brown rice cook. Once the rice is cooked, reserve it so that we can continue with the recipe
  4. Bring a skillet to medium heat and add a little olive oil. Add the leek onion and let it sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Add the Surimi, also known as crab hearts, in squares as seen in the photograph. Let sauté together with the leek onion for a few minutes.
  6. Add the peas or peas, add garlic paste to taste, salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients very well.
  7. Finally, add the brown rice already cooked and mix very well with the rest of the ingredients that we have in the pan. Mix very well, if you want as something additional you can add a little soy sauce.

Serve the rice with peas and Surimi adding a little sesame or amaranth seeds.
