  2. 1 pound of prawns or prawns
  3. 1 red bell pepper
  4. 100 grams of long or green onion
  5. 1 white onion
  6. 1 glass of brandy
  7. 2 teaspoons fresh parsley
  8. 2 cups of cooked white rice
  9. 1 pinch of garlic paste
  10. 1 pinch of salt
  11. 1 pinch of black pepper
  12. 200 milliliters of broth or seafood fumet

How to make Rice with Octopus and Prawns:

  • Preparing the ingredients is the first step in making this rice with octopus and prawns.
  • Now we are going to make the base sauce, an essential part of the octopus paella recipe. To do this, bring a skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil. When hot, add the tomato, finely chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté these ingredients well until integrated. Add salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste.
  • Add the white rice and mix well with the base sauce.
  • Add the seafood broth and the Brandy to perfume the honeyed octopus rice recipe and give it an exquisite flavor. Let cook until the liquid evaporates and reduces by half.
  • Tip: If you add more liquid you can prepare a soupy rice with octopus and shrimp if you like it better.
  • Bring a frying pan to medium heat, add a tablespoon of butter, and fry the cooked octopus and the prawns or prawns with a little fresh parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Integrate the octopus and shellfish with the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Let the octopus paella cook on the fire for a few minutes and it will be ready to serve.
  • Serve the rice with octopus and prawns recipe adding fresh parsley on top. You can accompany this dish with a glass of white wine, as this wine goes very well with seafood, and make a green salad, for example. Enjoy!
