Rice with Cheese and Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients to make Rice with cheese and mushrooms:

  1. 1 package of long rice
  2. 1 can of Corn
  3. 1 can of mushrooms
  4. 3 teaspoons of vegetable oil
  5. 1 unit of white onion
  6. 2 garlic cloves
  7. 1 package of mozzarella cheese
  8. 1 glass of fresh cream
  9. 1 teaspoon of Butter
  10. 1 liter of water or chicken broth
  11. 1 pinch of salt
  12. 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Rice with cheese and mushrooms:

  • Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in vegetable oil. Then, pour the previously washed rice and fry it for about 2 minutes.
  • Add the water or chicken broth, add salt and stir it a little so that the salt is well incorporated. Also add pepper to taste. If you want to make basic and easy chicken broth yourself, don’t miss this recipe
  • Open the cans of corn and mushrooms and add them to the rice, cover and let the water evaporate, the rice should be soft.
  • In a Pyrex, put a layer of rice with mushrooms and corn, then a layer of fresh cream and then a layer of mozzarella cheese, and so on, you can put as many layers as you prefer. Do not forget that the last layer must be mozzarella cheese.
