Rice with Celery and Carrot Recipe

Ingredients to make Rice with Celery and Carrot:

  1. 3 cups of cooked white rice
  2. 150 grams of fresh Celery
  3. 150 grams of Carrot
  4. 20 grams of Sesame
  5. 1 pinch of salt
  6. 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Rice with Celery and Carrot:

  • The first step to make the healthy recipe is to prepare the ingredients. If you want, you can replace the white rice with brown rice and get a healthier product.
  • Bring a skillet over medium heat, add a little olive or sunflower oil and add the diced celery and carrot. Let sauté for a few minutes until you notice that they are soft. Add salt and pepper to taste. In this recipe I wanted to highlight the two main ingredients, which are carrots and celery, but if you want you can add more vegetables to the recipe to lose weight.
  • Once you see that the vegetables are soft, add the white rice to the pan and lower the heat, mix all these ingredients very well and rectify the flavor. If you consider it necessary, you can add a little garlic powder. Let the preparation simmer and turn off the heat.
  • Serve the rice with carrots and celery sprinkling a little sesame seeds on top and as an additional touch a little fresh parsley. As I mentioned at the beginning, if you want you can replace the white rice with brown rice and you will have a food with more fiber. You can accompany it with grilled chicken.
