Rice with Artichokes Recipe

Ingredients to make Rice with artichokes:

  1. 1 unit of Artichokes
  2. 80 grams of purple onion
  3. 2 units of Garlic
  4. 1 teaspoon of Paprika
  5. 1 cup of rice
  6. 1 unit of Lemon
  7. 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  8. 1 pinch of salt
  9. 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Rice with artichokes:

  • Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  • Strip the artichokes and remove the fluff from the heart, cut the heart into small pieces and the softest part of some leaves.
  • In a pot with oil add the finely chopped artichokes, onion and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes over low heat, season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the rice and paprika powder, mix everything very well and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Add two cups of water and correct the taste with salt. Cook the rice over medium heat until the water evaporates, cover, lower the heat and cook for 25 minutes.
  • Serve the rice with artichokes with a lemon wedge and enjoy it alone or present it as a garnish for a garlic seafood platter.
