Ingredients to make Rice Salad with Tuna and Bacon:

  • 80 grams of prickly pear in oil
  • 80 grams of cooked white rice
  • 30 grams of corn or raw cob
  • ½ Tomato
  • ⅓bell pepper
  • 15 grams of Bacon or Bacon
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • Oil

How to make Rice Salad with Tuna and Bacon:

We gather all the ingredients to prepare our easy rice salad. You can use prickly pear in oil or natural, the corn can also be raw or if you prefer, canned. As for the rice, you can use what you have from the day before or cook loose white rice.

In a frying pan, fry the raw corn with 2-3 tablespoons of oil. When it begins to dry, we will put a few drops of water and cover so that they cook slowly and remain tender. When they are cooked, let them brown a bit. Meanwhile, cut the pepper into small cubes and the bacon into strips.

Heat another pan and brown the bacon until slightly crispy. In this case, you do not need to add any oil to the pan.

Peel and cut the tomato into cubes. If we want we can leave the inside part that contains the seeds.

Finally we mix all the ingredients of our rice salad with tuna and bacon or we help ourselves with a plating ring for a more elegant presentation.
