Rice Salad with Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients to make Rice Salad with Green Beans:

  • 100 grams of green beans
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 can of canned tuna
  • 1 can of sweet corn
  • 140 grams of brown rice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 jet of olive oil

How to make Green Bean Rice Salad:

We gather all the ingredients to make the rice salad with green beans. First, we cook the rice in plenty of boiling water with a little salt. In another pot, cook the green beans in boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain and let cool.  Once cold, cut them into pieces of about 2 centimeters.

Tip: The cooking time of the rice will depend on the manufacturer’s instructions.

We wash the sweet corn, drain it and add it to the rice salad with green beans. Sweet corn is high in vitamins B and A, as well as essential minerals such as potassium, iron, and calcium.

Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the salad. As we have said on other occasions, if you do not have cherry tomatoes at home, you can use a normal salad tomato. Once cooked, drain the brown rice and add it to the salad along with the rest of the ingredients. We move so that all the flavors are well integrated.

To finish the rice salad with green beans, add the tuna (remember that if it is tuna in oil, we drain it previously) and season with salt, ground black pepper and olive oil. Rice salad with green beans is perfect for both children and athletes.
