Rice recipe with wine, almonds and raisins

Ingredients to make Rice with wine, almonds and raisins:

  • 4 5 cups of precooked rice
  • 1/2 pound small raisins
  • 1/2 bottle of red wine
  • 1/2 pound sliced ​​almonds
  • 2 sticks of margarine
  • 1 large onion grated

How to make Rice with wine, almonds and raisins:

  1. – Leave the raisins to soak in the wine, four hours in advance.-
  2. Precooked rice is also made, only with salt to taste.

2- Once the above is ready, melt a bar of margarine in a large fryer and add all the grated onion to it, over low heat for half an hour.

3.-When the onion is fried in the margarine, add the sliced ​​almonds and continue to fry over low heat for another twenty minutes so that the almond slices are slightly toasted.

  1. – Then add the other stick of margarine and the raisins without the wine to the sauce, so that they are fried for another 10 minutes.
  2. – At the end, stir the already cooked rice, with the sauce and the wine and place it in the oven at minimum temperature until serving time.
