Rice Recipe with Vegetables and Prawns

Ingredients to make Rice with vegetables and shrimp:

  1. 250 grams of rice
  2. 150 grams of shrimp
  3. 1 piece of green pepper
  4. 1 piece of red pepper
  5. 1 handful of green beans
  6. 1 carrot
  7. 1 handful of peas
  8. 5 asparagus
  9. 4 tablespoons of fried tomato
  10. 2 cloves of garlic
  11. 1 splash of olive oil
  12. 500 milliliters of fish broth
  13. 1 pinch of salt
  14. 500 milliliters of water

How to make Rice with vegetables and shrimp:

  • Wash and clean the vegetables, cut them into small pieces so that they cook together with the rice. If they are frozen, there is no need to thaw them.
  • Put a splash of oil in a saucepan, add the peeled prawns and sauté them. Take out and reserve.
  • In the same pan, add a little more oil if necessary, put on medium heat and add the chopped garlic.
  • Before the garlic takes color add the vegetables, sauté everything together for about 5 minutes. Add the fried tomato and stir.
  • Add the rice to the pot along with the vegetables.
  • Stir and cook for a few minutes all together.
  • Pour the fish broth or water into the rice preparation with vegetables and peeled prawns. You can also add half and half so that it does not have a very strong flavor.
  • Let the rice cook for about 15-18 minutes, depending on the rice and how you like it. If you like the rice more soupy and you see that it is very dry you can add more water or broth. Put a little salt.
  • When the rice is almost ready, try to rectify the salt and, when there are only a few minutes left, add the prawns spread throughout the pan. Allow a few minutes for it to finish cooking and turn it off.
  • Let rest for a few minutes and serve your rice with shrimp and vegetables. Enjoy!
