Rice recipe with shrimps in wine

Ingredients to make Rice with shrimp in wine:

  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5 cups of rice
  • 125 ml of broth
  • 100 grams of shrimp or prawns
  • 20 grams of onion
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • 125 ml of white wine

How to make Rice with shrimp in wine:

  1. Cook the rice in double the amount of water with a little salt and oil for about 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan, brown the onion and garlic, add the tomato, bay leaf and oregano.
  3. It is completed with white wine, remove the bay leaf, and add the shrimp, the broth, and the pepper.
  4. When it has cooked a little so that the wine evaporates, add the already cooked rice, cilantro and salt.
  5. Mix well.
