- 4 cups of Water (960 milliliters)
- 4 tablespoons of Oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
- 1 pinch of cumin
How to make Arroz a la jardinera:
- To start with the realization of the rice in the gardener, the first thing we will do is cook the rice. To do this, heat the water and add it when it starts to boil. Add salt to taste and cook until al dente, then drain well and set aside.
- Now, take a pot, heat a little oil and fry the onion and garlic. Add the ground turmeric, salt, pepper and cumin to taste.
- When they are almost fried, add the peas, carrot and corn and stir everything. Cook it for a few minutes and add the water to continue with the fried rice with vegetables. Check if it is well salted and cover the pot. As soon as it starts to boil, add the rice, stir everything and cover it again.
- You should stir it from time to time so that the rice does not stick and the vegetables are cooked correctly. Once the rice is incorporated, when it boils, lower the heat to a minimum and let it cook.
- You can make it more or less broth, as you prefer, but if you want it to have a little more broth, simply add a little more water. When it’s ready, turn off the heat and serve hot. As you can see, making gardener rice is very simple and the result is spectacular. You can serve a green salad as a starter and strawberries with soy milk for dessert.
