How to make the original Micas Extremadura:

In a large bowl, place the previously cut slices of bread, a pinch of salt and a stream of water (use a colander) to soak the bread evenly.

Cover the dish with a cloth so that it soaks well and let it rest. On the other hand, we cut the chorizo ​​and the bacon into very fine pieces and fry them in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, until they are golden brown.
