Recipe of the original Farinas

Ingredients to make the original Farinas:

  • ¼ kg Of flour
  • 1 liter of water
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 slices of bread
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 150 gr. of bacon

How to make the original Farinas:

  1. The garlic is peeled and cut into slices.
  2. The bacon is cut into small strips
  3. The slices of bread from the previous day are cut into squares.
  4. Put the garlic, the bacon and the squares of bread in a frying pan with olive oil and brown them slightly.
  5. When they are golden, they are removed and reserved on a separate plate.
  6. Then, in the same pan, add 1 liter of water and when it starts to boil, add salt and slowly add the flour, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Let it cook more or less for ¼ h. without burning.
  7. Then, add the garlic, bacon and bread that we had fried to the flour and stir well. Let everything cook together for another 5 minutes.
