  • ½ garlic clove
  • 1 branch of parsley
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

How to make Spaghetti with mushrooms:

  1. We will start by working the shellfish. Then, we wash the clams directly under the tap and put them in a saucepan to bring them to a boil over high heat.
  2. Remember that to make this sea and mountain pasta dish you can also use clams.
  3. When they open, remove the casserole from the heat and detach the clams from the shells. Keep the meat in a bowl together with the strained cooking brother and reserve some with the shell for the final decoration of our spaghetti.
  4. On the other hand, we heat oil in another casserole and sauté the finely chopped onion.
  5. When we see that the onion begins to brown, we add the sliced mushrooms and continue with the preparation of the base sauce.
  6. We continue with the sauce for a few minutes and then we add the tomato, season with salt and pepper and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  7. If you prefer, you can replace the natural tomato with fried tomato sauce, in this case, just mix everything well and before removing from the heat, and add the clams, garlic and chopped parsley.
  8. When it boils again, remove the casserole from the heat and reserve.
  9. We leave the seafood sauce for pasta on one side and we prepare to cook the spaghetti.
  10. We then follow the traditional procedure and cook the pasta in boiling water with a touch of salt. We remove from time to time during cooking and check the manufacturer’s instructions to make sure that the pasta is al dente.
  11. Now to serve, we drain the pasta and distribute it on each plate, bathing with the chiral and mushroom sauce.
