Recipe of Polenta with Prawns

Ingredients to make Polenta with prawns:

  1. 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  2. 1 unit of Lemon (juice)
  3. ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  4. 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  5. 340 grams of peeled prawns
  6. 3 cups of water (720 milliliters)
  7. 1 cup of polenta
  8. 100 grams of Parmesan cheese
  9. 2 tablespoons of Butter
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1 pinch of pepper
  12. 1 sprig of fresh chives

How to make Polenta with prawns:

  • The first step in preparing this Italian polenta is to marinate the prawns. To do this, mix the oil with the lemon juice, chili, pepper and ginger. Bathe the prawns in this mixture and reserve.
  • Apart, heat the water in a small pot and when it breaks the boil add the polenta slowly. Lower the flame and simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Add the salt, Parmesan cheese and butter. Over time, check the taste and texture of the polenta and add more salt or butter if necessary.
