This skinless lentil stew is a good recipe for babies if we mash it all once cooked. Also, if you are going to prepare this dish for your baby, remember not to put the spices and reduce the amount of salt.

Ingredients to make peeled lentils with vegetables:

  • 120 grams of peeled lentil
  • ½ spring onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 80 grams of Pumpkin
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 piece of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 potato
  • 1 teaspoon of Turmeric
  • 1 pinch of ground cumin

How to make peeled lentils with vegetables:

1.We gather all the ingredients to prepare the peeled lentils with vegetables.

2.We make a sauce with the onion, the pepper and the peeled tomato: chop the vegetables into small squares, put a little salt and let them cook for approximately 7-8 minutes. When they are poached, put them in a blender glass and beat them with a little water.

3.In the same pot we return to the pastry of the peeled lentils for babies and add the chopped pumpkin and carrots, as seen in the photo. We also put a pinch of ground cumin.

4.Then we cover with water, put a little more salt and a sprig of laurel. Let boil for 10 minutes.

5.It is time to add the peeled lentils to our stew. Now we also incorporate the potato cut into wedges.

Tip: The approximate cooking time for skinless lentils is 15-20 minutes. We recommend looking at the manufacturer’s instructions.

6.Add a little turmeric and boil the peeled lentils with vegetables for about 20 minutes.

7.To accompany these peeled lentils with vegetables you can prepare a light cucumber salad.
