Recipe of Onions stuffed with minced meat

In this recipe we bring some onions stuffed with minced meat, a very tasty option to eat for lunch and, also, different. We must bear in mind that we can make the filling with the meat that you most want, come with us to make this different recipe with which you will surprise your diners.

Ingredients to make Onions stuffed with minced meat:

  • 4 units of large white onions
  • 250 grams of ground pork
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 3 units of red tomatoes
  • 300 milliliters of Pomodoro sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper
  • 1 unit of melon spoon

How to make Minced Meat Stuffed Onions:

  1. The first step to make this stuffed onions recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. Remove the tips of the white onions.
  3. With the help of the melon spoon, remove the center of the onions so that we can fill them with the minced meat.
  4. You must reserve what we remove so that we can make the filling later.
  5. Finely chop what we removed from the onions to make the filling with the minced meat.
  6. Bring a frying pan over medium heat with a little sunflower oil, add the onion that we had previously chopped, add salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Add the ground beef with a little garlic paste to taste and let the onion stuffing take place.
  8. If you want you can add red ripe tomatoes, that are why I put them at the beginning of the recipe, to make a stir-fry, you can also make it only with the sautéed onion. Turn off the heat and let cool.
  9. Take the onions that we had reserved from step three to a previously greased refractory.
  10. Fill the onions with the meat that we made up to the top
  11. Add over and around the refractory commodore sauce to taste.
  12. Bake the stuffed onions in the oven at 180ºC for approximately 20 minutes, or until they are at the desired cooking point.
  13. Serve the onions stuffed with minced meat accompanied with any carbohydrate of your choice
