Ingredients to make Mexican Tostadas with Fish:
- ½ kilogram of smoked marlin
- 4 units of Tomato
- 1 unit of Onion
- 1 can of chipotle chili
- ½ bunch of Cilantro
- 1 jet of vegetable oil
- 1 bottle of ketchup sauce
- 7 units of Olives
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pinch of salt to taste
How to make Mexican Tostadas with Fish:
To make our Mexican tostadas we will start by making a sauce with the garlic, onion and tomato in oil, all chopped into small squares. The marlin is shredded and incorporated into the previous mixture. If you can’t get marlin for the Mexican fish tostadas, you can substitute tuna or smoked salmon. Apart, grind the chipotle chili in the blender, with a little water and tomato sauce.
Add the chili to the pan and add a little more water, tomato ketchup and let it boil for about 3 minutes. Water and tomato sauce are ingredients to taste, you can add more or less depending on the flavor and texture you want to achieve. Remember that the preparation should not be very dry.
Add the coriander and finely chopped olives and boil for about 4 more minutes. Turn off the heat when it reaches the desired consistency and let it rest before completing the Mexican Smoked Marlin Tostadas.
Serve the preparation on toast or corn tortillas and decorate with a little avocado, cheese and fresh cilantro.
Another way to eat these delicious Mexican tostadas is to replace the sofrito with a Pico de Gallo with all the ingredients and the fish.
