Recipe of Meat in wine with sauce

Ingredients to make Meat in wine with sauce:

  • 1 kilogram of Meat (tip or shoulder)
  • 2 cups of red wine
  • 1 unit of onion
  • 3 units of rib broth (cube)
  • Flour
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

How to make Meat in wine with sauce:

  1. Making this meat in wine is easier than it seems. The first thing you should do is place the meat in a pot and season with salt, pepper, garlic and the discarded bouillon cubes. Rub the meat well on both sides.
  2. Next, cut the onion into feathers and pour it into the pot along with the meat. Bathe everything with the wine and cook over medium heat for an hour or until the meat is very tender.
  3. To check that the meat is ready, take out a piece and try, the wine must have reduced and do not forget that the longer the meat is on the fire, the softer it will be.
  4. Once the meat is done, remove the liquid from the pot and mix with a little flour to thicken. This step is optional, you can leave the liquid cooking broth if you wish. Cut the piece of meat into slices to serve.
  5. Serve the meat in wine with freshly made sauce and accompany it with some white rice, a simple salad or a gratin mashed potatoes. Delicious!
